The world is coming to an end.

NEW WORDS. More than 2,000 new words and phrases have been added in the latest edition of the New Oxford American Dictionary. Some of the new words include: Buzzkill: a person or thing that has a depressing or dispiriting effect; Cheeseball: lacking taste, style or originality; Chillax: calm down and relax; and Vuvuzela: the horn used at the World Cup Games. Other new words are "microblogging," "staycation," "frenemy," "bromance," and "turducken." (Yahoo! Buzz Log, Aug. 20).
